About The Farmhouse:
The Farmhouse at McCullough has been one of our exclusive amenities since 2009. Situated in the midst of live oaks, magnolias, and pecans, this classic turn of the century Southern farmhouse is a peaceful oasis in the heart of town. With heart pine floors, gracious porches, and comfortable furnishings, The Farmhouse truly feels like a home away from home. In late 2019, it was decided that the use of the home would be limited exclusively to families being served through the funeral home as well as for Seasons of Hope, our McCullough Funeral Home grief ministry.
The Farmhouse is a perfect place for refreshments or meals before or after a service, or a place to simply come together and honor someone in a more casual, relaxed setting. The Farmhouse offers an alternative to hosting such events at the home of a family member and its location at the rear of the funeral home makes it ideal and convenient. Our staff can take care of everything for you, such as arranging for catering, if desired, and providing staff for serving and cleaning up afterwards. This amenity uniquely allows us to offer your family an inviting place to gather and to provide you with an extra level of comfort.

Please note: If you are looking for information regarding the use of the house for a non-funeral related event, we regret to inform you that at this time we are no longer booking non-funeral related social events due to the increased usage of the house by families we are serving at McCullough. When we renovated the house, we never dreamed how much of a difference it would make for us to offer this special place to our families during their time of loss. However, having a place to gather with family or friends before or after a service, or for a small gathering to celebrate the life of a loved one has proven to be a blessing to many! As a result, and with much consideration and prayer, we decided the right thing for us to do would be to reserve the calendar so it will be available to our funeral home families as much as possible. We have enjoyed serving the community and watching you have wonderful events in The Farmhouse; we appreciate your understanding as we continue to serve the community, just in a different way.
